MHLS Member Library staff, trustees, Friends and patrons are encouraged to attend Library Advocacy Day sponsored by the New York Library Association (NYLA). The goal is to show legislators how much people care about libraries by packing the offices at every appointment. With 15 legislators to meet with we need lots of people to come and show their support.

• Legislative Breakfast Reception: 8:00 - 9:30am @Meeting Room Six, Concourse Level, Empire State Plaza Convention Center, Albany, NY

• Visits with State Legislators in the Legislative Office Building (LOB): 10:00am - 3:00pm. Appointments with all MHLS area legislators are made by MHLS. The appointment schedule will be sent to all who register, posted online at http://midhudson.org/ and provided to those on the bus.
•Rally and Speeches: 11:30am – noon @The Well in the LOB

MHLS makes the day as simple as possible by coordinating transportation, making all appointments and leading participants through the day.
